Schools out for Winter...

Finally a break. I'm not sure what i'll do with myself for the next 3 weeks, but I will find something to do (most likely quilt). Here are a few of the instruments I have been working with. A few days ago I assisted on a root canal during class (very intricate work), I really enjoyed. I am looking forward to go on an observation at an oral surgeons. I'll need to keep up my reading and review procedures so I don't dumb down...

Also here are a few pics from my camera/phone that I thought were cute of Malik and Nadia up to there usual antics...

It's all down hill...

I'm half way through my school program. Doing well and learning lots. For a treat the school took us on a field trip to Seattle for "Bodies: the Exhibition". I'm amazed at the structure and function of the body. I recommend seeing this exhibit you will learn many things about yourself.

I also went to the Fall Quilt Show at the Fairgrounds. This is my favorite quilt this year... Santa and Rudolph in the photo booth..

HIKING...

We went hiking for Andreas birthday. She decided a day hike would be best since Malik's not walking yet. We went to PJ Lake @ Hurricane Ridge.

Overall it was a great hike and the views were amazing. Nadia had a minor injury, but Stacey came to the rescue (Stacey thinks it is funny that my first reaction was to snap a picture).

Houdini

Here is my chicken Houdini, but I've been thinking of changing his name to Einstien. As you can see his hair is out there and now it is so fluffy he can hardly see anymore. Also he doesn't sound like a normal chicken, he has a high pitch PEEP!

A New Adventure!!!

Ok I am very sorry to all of you who thought maybe Shell fell off the face of the earth... I'm still here
So after I came home from Idaho I decided to become a Dental Assistant. I've been in school for 2 months and I am loving it. The labs are my favorite so far I've learned how to take x-rays and make a plaster impression of teeth. It's lots of fun!!

Spring Break part two

I spent one day in Idaho Falls...
If you want to expand your taste buds stop by Ida Russkie, its a great place to eat.  The borsch and blini are delicious.
I also purchased some goodies at their grocery.

The Museum of Idaho also a great place to go.  Currently showing Titanic.  Sorry no pics cameras not allowed.

Tautphaus Park Zoo

Spring Break part one

On my way to a potential job in Utah I stopped by Dereks in Rexburg for a few days.  Saw the newly constructed Rexburg Temple.

A few days later...
On my way back to Dereks I stopped at the Lava Formations and walked the trails.
